2010 Conference

CANCELLED

Due to the continuing economic difficulties being experienced by park and open space agencies, CARPOSA's Board of Directors voted on May 19, 2010 to cancel the annual conference scheduled for September, 2010. 

The vote was passed with great sadness, as the Board knows the value of the educational and networking sessions which have been held at prior conferences.  This the second year in which the CARPOSA conference has had to be cancelled.

Plans are currently underway to hold a conference in 2011.  Options for hosting the conference in conjunction with another professional organization are being investigated, and more information will be published when it is available.

The Board wishes to thank all those who have so generously assisted with organizing conferences in prior years.  It is the Board's intent that a full fledged stand alone conference will return, at a future time when agency funding and staff availability make it feasible.
